About Mema's Doll Shop
Our Story
Welcome to Mema's Doll Shop — where a lifelong love of dolls became a curated collection for collectors everywhere.
My name is Syls and it has become my passion to continue my late Grandmother's legacy and love for dolls and vintage toys. My Mema was a collector all of her adult life and even had two separate toy stores, one in the 1980s, and another in the mid 1990s through the mid 2000s. As the wife of a Vietnam Veteran and a two time breast cancer survivor, she understood how precarious life can be and lived hers to the fullest.
She loved bringing joy to children and collectors with the things she would find. Mema was an avid flea market, thrift store, and yard sale shopper, and she had the knowledge of all things toys to pick out the very best pieces. As she got older it became harder for her to continue her passion, but she was happy to be surrounded by her personal collection. By keeping all of these amazing treasures she has passed on an amazing opportunity for all of us that she left behind.
Mema passed away September 26th, 2024. We all are so grateful for all of the sweet memories of her and every moment we were able to spend together. It is such an honor to share her memory and collection with all of you.
Half of all profits made are returned back to my Grandparents estate to build generational wealth for all of my family. We deeply appreciate your support!
